He is a Chartered Accountant and former Computer Audit Partner with one of the major international accounting firms. He spent five years with The Littlewoods Organisation plc, responsible for Business Risk and Computer Security at one of the world's largest computer sites, and is now retained by major international organisations to advise and train their Audit Departments.
Bill has specialised in computer security and computer auditing for over 30 years and is one of a select few awarded Fellowship of the Institute of Internal Auditors for his contribution to internal auditing.

 

Dr Mike Buck BSc. MSc. Ph.D Mike's diverse IT background and his experience in computer auditing provide him with the ideal skill set for his current role as an independent consultant and one of our top specialist trainers. His early years were spent writing applications and supporting IBM mainframe sites, from which he emerged as a CICS/COBOL/IDMSX expert. Mike has managed major projects, held a senior development management position, has specialised in IT risk management and gained invaluable experience with District Audit.
More recently, Mike's technical roles involved serving as systems administrator for SUN Solaris and IBM AIX UNIX machines. He is an experienced database administrator and programmer, with extensive knowledge of ORACLE and Microsoft SQL Server. He also presents programming courses in 'C', JAVA and XML, and is an accomplished presenter of computer audit and security courses.

 

Dr. David Bell, BSc (Hons), PhD, CEng, MIMM. David's technical skills and training background give him the perfect credentials as one of our top presenters. He is both a certified Novell NetWare engineer and a Microsoft Certified Systems engineer. He has six years' of high level professional computer training experience behind him. This, coupled with a detailed technical knowledge of networking and operating system security gained through real world exposure as a consultant and trouble-shooter, means David most definitely has what it takes as a top presenter.
David has worked in technical support, network management, and as a consultant. He
has presented courses for some of the top training companies in the country. Now he runs a variety of specialised audit and security courses which he has developed especially for e-tec Security.
